The Elim difference

You feel the hope as you walk around Elim’s campus. You see the joy in the brightly colored artwork hung on the walls of Elim’s classrooms. You witness the love as staff members enthusiastically greet their students after a weekend away. You hear the excitement  in the “voice” of a student as their communication device allows them to talk with friends and express their needs.

In fact, you can see your impact by watching this video about Cindy, one of the students in our autism program. I am sure her story will show you just how important you have been in making the Elim Difference.

Elim’s distinctiveness goes far beyond its exemplary programs or highly skilled staff members. It is Elim’s vision – that each person, regardless of ability, was created in the image of God and has a contribution to make in our world – that is so distinct. We go beyond providing basic care, working hard to provide each student and adult with meaningful skills, relationships and opportunities – all to the glory of God! 

And all of this happens because of you!

Thank you for your essential partnership in this ministry. Because of you, students and adults benefit from Elim’s distinctive programs, therapies, and training. Because of you, students with learning disabilities receive academic assistance and tutoring within their local Christian school. Because of you, families come to the oasis of Elim and receive the hope, resources, and support that they need.

As Elim embarks upon its 65th year of ministry, I celebrate the blessings God has granted to this ministry. From its humble start in a church basement, serving only a few students, the Elim of today is almost unrecognizable. Now equipping over 900 children and adults with disabilities with the skills they need to achieve their God-given potential, Elim continues to grow and change in order to provide the best programs for those we serve. Through its International Outreach program, Elim’s expertise stretches across the world, training educators and changing the lives of even more individuals with disabilities.
