While this week may be appreciation week, please know you are appreciated daily, not only by us, but by our students, our families, and the community at large as represented by the districts we serve.
We are blessed to have an outstanding faculty who are deeply committed to the mission of ensuring that our students have every opportunity to meet their God-Given potential. We have a nursing staff, small but mighty, to ensure that our students’ health needs are addressed so they can reach their potential. We know that our teachers do not work in isolation. We are so grateful to all the support specialists; our wonderful therapy and behavior teams, who provide the tools for our students to access their education at the level they can. What a blessing to have so many talented individuals who work together to make this all possible.
Our professions give us the opportunity to see growth and miracles every day. What a gift! Sometimes it may take a while for improvement or the changes may be subtle, but when I think of the gift we have been given to be here in this time and place. WOW. The awesome obligation we have to our parents who have lent us their most treasured child for five plus hours each school day – it is really pretty powerful.
Thank you for choosing a service profession. Thank you for sharing your gifts. Thank you for showing Jesus to our students each and every day. Thank you for being here. We could not be Elim without each and every one of you.
We are honored to serve along with you and are so blessed to be among such dedicated individuals.
