Everybody Counts Week at Timothy Christian School teaches students about disability hoping to increase awareness and acceptance of those who live with disabilities.
This year, Elim was involved in a unique way!
Using video conferencing tools, Allie live-streamed into the sixth grade Timothy classrooms to share, “We All Have Value and Purpose,” an Elim-built presentation which focuses on 1 Corinthians 12. In this passage, Paul says. “God has placed all the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.” Students discussed how in God’s eyes, everybody counts – we all have value and purpose!
Because of your support, students at Timothy heard the message that all people are part of the same body, so a need met for one is a need met for all. When we live from a 1 Corinthians 12 perspective, we celebrate when each part of the body gets what it needs to thrive!
