Have You Heard About Elim’s International Outreach Program?

March 7, 2013

Did you know that Elim Christian Services has an International Outreach program?

It’s true!  The Elim International Outreach program was established in 2005 with a vision to share and multiply the impact of the wonderful expertise and knowledge resources that God has given to Elim over the last 65 years.

What does the Elim International Outreach program do?
Currently the International Outreach program has developed formal collaborative relationships with five individuals who are called Elim Liaisons.  Elim Liaisons live internationally and are Christian individuals who have shown a passion and ambition to serve and empower individuals and families who are impacted by disability in their communities.  Elim International Outreach staff work closely with the Elim Liaisons to develop and fulfill activities that focus on these three areas:

Awareness

Raising awareness that persons with disabilities are of profound worth to God, and therefore to themselves, their families and the world.

Access

Supporting persons with disabilities in gaining access to resources that enable…

Integration

Supporting persons with disabilities in becoming full-fledged members of their communities.
