Happy 75th Birthday Elim – A Poem by Joshua, Class of 2003

Dear Elim,
It’s celebration time,
so I am going to do it in rhyme.
75 years old,
you’re still as good as gold!
75 years of ups and downs,
bringing kids from cities and towns.
A school for the handicapped, deaf, and blind,
man, it’s a great find!
I am in awe,
when you teach God’s law.
You teach God’s Word,
to those who haven’t heard.
You taught me everything,
that I want to sing.
If I made it there,
I can make it anywhere.
It’s up to you, Elim Christian School,
you always taught me the golden rule.
Here’s to 75 more years,
and all I have to say is cheers!
