Equipped to Grow in Faith

Brendan loves to learn about the Bible at Elim. Each day, Brendan and his peers gather for prayer and devotions in his classroom. While this was first unfamiliar to Brendan, he quickly began to express interest in learning more.
His teacher, Kristi DeJager, was so excited to see Brendan’s interest in Jesus that she sent him home with several devotional books tailored for young men. Brendan’s faith grew and his whole family–at Elim and at home–recently celebrated when Brendan made his public confirmation of his faith!
DeJager is excited to see how God works through Elim to cultivate Brendan’s heart saying, “I hope Brendan continues to seek Jesus, continues reading the Bible stories, and encourages his family to continue to grow in their faith.”
