Brendan’s Easter Message

“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
 
That Bible verse, chosen by one of Brendan’s teachers, proclaims the mission of Elim this Easter!
 
Each day at Elim, students learn about their Savior, Creator, and Friend – Jesus Christ. They learn that Jesus died for them and celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. Hallelujah! Brendan is one student whose faith has grown at Elim. In his classroom, Brendan and his peers gather for prayer and devotions.
 
 
Brendan loves to learn about the Bible, and his enthusiasm spills over at home. His mom explains, “Brendan comes home and tells me things about Jesus. He’s learning Bible stories and made public confirmation of his faith. Elim has made his faith grow. He feels better about himself and closer to God!”
 
Brendan's current teacher says he would love to teach the Bible. With that in mind, we asked him to share a special Easter message with you. We hope this message will bless you!
 

A friendly and social young man, Brendan loves to greet his friends and encourage others. He loves math, science, and singing, and he frequently raises his hand because he wants to learn more! His teacher is always impressed by his work ethic, saying, “Brendan always wants to participate in class activities, and he always does it with enthusiasm. He also tries very hard on his work and wants to do his best.”

Brendan loves to be involved! He enjoys the athletic opportunities Elim provides, enthusiastically playing on Elim’s basketball team, participating in track and field, and swimming with his friends. His mom witnesses the joy Elim brings him every day.

“Each day, Brendan says, ‘Mom, is it a basketball day?’ He loves it,” she explains. “Without Elim, Brendan wouldn’t be on a sports team or involved in extracurricular activities. Elim meets him at his level and has helped him grow as a person. The love in that school is amazing. He’s so happy there.”
