Finally! A book club without homework!

Have you ever wanted to join a book club but weren’t sure you had the time to take on the extra reading? Well, here is the perfect solution for you: Just Show Up (JSU) Book Club!

Participation couldn’t be more stress-free. We’ll gather, read, listen, and discuss great books together with no pre-reading required.

This book club focuses on promoting literature that focuses on disabilities. You can join in the club at any point – no need to start at Chapter 1.

Our current book: El Deafo by Cece Bell

 

This heartwarming graphic novel tells the story of a young girl named Cece who loses her hearing due to illness. Through colorful illustrations and a touch of humor, the book explores Cece’s journey as she navigates the challenges of fitting in at a new school and embracing her differences.
