Want to take a closer look at Elim Outreach? Meet Elim's ministry leader in Kenya – Pastor Thomas. Previously a regular education teacher, Pastor Thomas became passionate about special education because he met many children with disabilities who did not have access to education. So
Pastor Thomas started Wizara School to help provide an education for these children in the Kuria community.
Elim has been sharing its expertise and providing support for Wizara School in Kenya now for three years. Because of that partnership, children with disabilities in the Kuria community have access to improved resources and education. Pastor Thomas is hoping to visit Elim this year to receive further training in order to better support people with disabilities in this community. But this training doesn’t just impact the students at Wizara School. Pastor Thomas and his staff are also able to share the special education knowledge and skills they gain with other educators in Kenya. Through this collaboration, even more people with disabilities are served. Even more educators learn, grow, and transform lives.
