So far, our students and staff have raised $777.91!! I am so proud of our students and their generosity. One student came in with $50 that his brother had earned selling wrapping paper.
All the money raised goes to a little girl on Reece's Rainbow named Kimberely. She is an orphan with Down syndrome who lives in Latin America. Our hope is that she will soon find a family and they will be able to use the money we have raised to pay adoption fees.
One classroom put together a great presentation about Reece's Rainbow and the Challenge. Crossroads' Service Learning Coordinator has been taking classes to the bank to cash in our change. I have loved watching the entire Crossroads team pull together to support this great cause.
Please feel free to check out our contest on the wall outside of the mail room. Check out our little girl on Reece's Rainbow and join us in praying that a family will step forward to adopt her soon!
